Director of Education (secondary schools)
Responsible to: Chief Executive Officer
Salary Grade: Salary in the range of L29-L33 (£93,902 to £103,578)
Full time/Part time: Full time

Do you have the skills, experience, drive and ambition to develop the quality of education in the secondary schools in our trust?
This is an exciting new role for our trust as we grow and expand. The role involves working with our Chief Executive Officer, Director of Standards and School Improvement and the Director of Education (Primary) to improve the quality of education and standards in the secondary schools in our trust.
We are looking to appoint someone who has proven experience at a senior leadership level in secondary schools or in a local authority or a multi academy trust. The successful candidate will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills as well as an ability to work across a number of schools in a number of different settings in the trust. They will also have the skill and experience necessary to continue to improve the quality of education in the secondary phase schools in our trust.
The Chelmsford Learning Partnership is a successful and established multi-academy trust based in Essex. The trust currently has 3 large secondary phase schools with a fourth joining the trust in April 2024. We are a multi-academy trust that has an unashamed ambition focused on the achievements of our students. The achievements of our students is our primary ambition. This role also provides the successful candidate the opportunity to play a significant role in shaping the strategic direction of our trust as member of the senior executive team.
