Your role in our mission
You’ll be the Business Change Lead on one of our largest ever investment programmes, deploying an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system across our Sales, Service, Order Management and Finance functions.
You will play a vital role in this exciting and critical programme, helping drive adoption of the new solution and ways of working. You will coach, mentor and support teams from across the business to advocate the benefits of change, proactively identifying potential challenges and resolving them.
You’ll bring to life our key programme objectives for our teams – helping build a process centric organisation, being more proactive and outcome focused, and role model how we can use data to drive decision making. Your energy and enthusiasm for change will be infectious across the business.
What you’ll do
- Build, coach and mentor a network of ‘change champions’ from each in scope business area to drive adoption of both the new solution and new ways of working
- Leverage your experience in change management to apply a structured framework to all Business Change activities
- Build a comprehensive understanding of the people, systems and process impacts of our proposed changes
- Lead all internal communication activities, partnering with the Communications and People & Culture teams
- Ownership of all training requirements, working with the People & Culture team and our implementation partners to deliver training
- Challenge processes and ways of working across the business to help achieve our desired outcomes, aligned with our strategy and key principles
- Build relationships across the business, working closely with colleagues at all levels. Regularly interface with senior leaders at Director and C-Suite level to support key decision making and maintain confidence in programme
- Be a key member of the ERP programme leadership team, driving the team and wider business to achieve our strategic goals on time and to the agreed cost / quality measures
Requirements
- You have significant experience as a Business Change Lead / Manager, with a strong background in implementing ERP solutions in a Sales / Service or Finance domain
- You are likely to be qualified in a Change Management methodology such as Prosci
- You are a creative problem solver, you know how to influence stakeholders at all levels to step back, understand the root cause of a problem and develop innovative solutions
- You have a proven ability to lead cross functional teams, inspiring them to achieve ambitious goals
- You will understand how people react to change, you will anticipate challenges and implement strategies to mitigate resistance
- You are passionate about understanding and meeting the needs of customers, advocating for them and their needs is your mission.
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and can effectively convey complex technical and business concepts to stakeholders at all levels
- You thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities, whilst maintaining focus on the big picture in terms of strategic goals / timescales
- You have a track record of delivering high-quality products on time and on budget, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on being better every day
- You are a 'doer' and are not afraid to make decisions and take calculated risks to drive the product forward, ensuring that innovation, execution and business value are balance
