Role: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Ealing
Salary: £75-£90 per day
Start Date: As soon as possible

SEMH Teaching Assistants in
Ealing from
as soon as possible . Our
Primary & Secondary client Schools are renowned special needs academies that work to provide a person-cantered, holistic teaching approach.
As an SEMH Teaching Assistant you will: - Support on a one to one and small group basis
- Follow Education Health Care Plans to ensure outcomes are met
- Assist in engaging lessons including outdoor education and creative learning
- Support young people social interaction
Minimum Candidate Requirements: - Have previous experience supporting people with social, emotional and mental health needs, and challenging behavior
- Be familiar with a Positive Behavior Policy and de-escalation techniques
- Be knowledgeable about warning signs and triggers
- Have a true passion for supporting young people with special educational needs
- Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to pay for a new one through GSL Education.
