Licensing Manager - Learning, Teaching and Assessment
Salary: From £30,000 per annum negotiable depending on experience
Contract: 12 month FTC
Location: Hybrid - flexibility to work from home or at any of our main hubs (London, Bristol, Manchester and Milton Park - Oxfordshire)

About the role:
Our mission is to enable digital transformation by brokering and negotiating the best solutions for, and with, the research and education sectors. We aim to empower our members with the services, the insights, the software, tools and content to realise their research, teaching and learning and organisational ambitions.
As a Licensing Manager you will be working in the forefront of digital innovation and technologies and will be responsible for identifying and negotiating the best agreements for our members and customers that allow institutions to operate sustainably, securely and with flexibility.

Responsibilities will include:
• Working alongside our sector groups, funders, members and customers, to understand and translate their requirements into highly effective agreements, whilst focusing on areas where Jisc will bring added value
• Managing a portfolio in line with Jisc’s product and service management frameworks
• Successfully deliver a portfolio of content, software and tools to advance digital transformation and meet our revenue and sustainability targets
• Identify complex issues or inefficiencies impacting Jisc and takes the lead to deliver cross-organisation solutions

Key Skills and Experience:
• Strong advocacy and negotiation skills – can formulate compelling arguments and adapt these to different audiences, demonstrates flexibility and creativity to reach agreement
• An exceptional communicator demonstrates simplicity in communications: keeping them brief, clear, timely and tailored to the audience
• Advanced data and financial analysis skills
• Knowledge of institutional central information systems and relevant markets
• Previous experience of people management would be ideal, as would experience in digital transformation, customer management, support, or business development
