THE ROLE:

Boohoo is currently seeking a Head of Brand Marketing to join the dynamic and diverse team. This is a rare opportunity to play a fundamental role in developing and implementing the brand strategy. We need someone bold with big ideas, as we want to disrupt the market and take the brand to the next stage of growth. You will lead the brand team, including social media, Influencer outreach, PR and events, to implement a strategy which continues to build upon our brand personality and identity in the minds, actions and experiences of our customers. This is not a role for the “faint hearted” and will require a high level of creativity, influencing skills, tenacity, leadership, commerciality and functional capability. When it comes to all things brand awareness and e-commerce, we’re not afraid to be brave. Each of our teams is the voice of the brand, so we utilise creative campaigns, social media and influencer outreach, PR & Communications and events, leading a team of 18 in total across 3 territories. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Reporting into the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for strategy definition and activation of the full brand budget globally delivering brand marketing performance. You will also be required to implement and monitor consistency in brand positioning, brand messaging, tone of voice, brand listening exercises and ensuring boohoo remain true to brand. Working with the Marketing Director and the boohoo senior leadership team to determine the global brand strategy which will disrupt the market and take the brand to the next stage of growth, leading our influencer and global face of campaigns and driving our brand partnerships, building and maintaining a strong and varied network of contacts across a variety of verticals. We want you to inspire your brand creative team to deliver innovative engaging campaigns and content that is meaningful and compelling to our customers, leading the Global brand teams based in markets, and the UK based creative, operational, social, PR & influencer teams you will drive forward the brand strategy and ensure they innovate and execute it, keeping us ahead as industry leaders We always ensure the customer is at the heart of every decision so you will need to promote a strong company culture both internally and externally, supporting the senior leadership team with boohoo for change, managing internal Group interfaces that support Brand marketing/PR activity to ensure consistent brand communication evaluating and monitoring the impact of all brand activity to ensure it is both relevant and cost effective Acting as a key point of contact for all media, you will manage creative excellence across all media and touchpoints and manage an in-house creative and graphics team to deliver this globally, communicating comprehensive evaluations for all PR activity to the brands driving results through effective team and individual performance, setting clear goals and managing accountability. Recognising and encouraging outstanding performance and managing any performance concerns effectively

WHAT YOU CAN BRING:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the boohoo brand with a clear understanding of our customers’ expectations. Being an established Global Head of Brand with a proven track record in fashion retail, managing brand & marketing teams and working with high profile individuals, you will come with an established budget management experience, combining an innovative approach with commercial ideas and a trading mentality. We would like for you to be able to demonstrate your understanding of marketing/PR concepts and proven track record in practical and successful application with the capacity to build strong working relationships – both internally and externally. We want to see your enthusiasm, energy and determination with the ability to juggle initiatives and prioritise those that will have a bigger impact on the business and achieve results. You will be a leader who pro-actively seeks, identifies, and develops new opportunities, challenging the status quo, disrupting the market, to constantly drive their team and the brand forward. You will have a strong personal gravitas with confidence to influence and present ideas at all levels within the company, including Brand and Group CEOs
