Job description
- Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and disclosures in compliance with international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS).
- PLC Compliance: Ensure adherence to PLC regulations, including the preparation of annual reports, interim statements, and compliance with corporate governance guidelines.
- Consolidation: Oversee the consolidation of financial data from multiple entities and geographies.
- Technical Accounting: Stay up-to-date with evolving accounting standards and provide guidance on the impact of new standards on financial reporting.
- Financial Controls: Implement and maintain strong financial controls to safeguard the integrity of financial data.
- Stakeholder Communication: Interact with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, to address inquiries and provide financial insights.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
