Position: Operations Manager
The post holder will be part of a fabulous team of people in a beautiful environment.
They will participate in how the project develops, helping to leave a legacy for the local

cultural life of the organisation and community and have opportunities to develop new skills
and abilities.
Job Purpose
The remit for the Operations Manager is broad and extensive and because of its dynamic role requires someone who is able to demonstrate competence in a wide range of situations, and who can apply a range of knowledge, skills & understanding to further develop our offer. This includes:
The successful candidate will be developing the project in the way it is described above and will need to be flexible and adaptable in the role to enable the project to fulfil its aspirations.
Experience
The role would ideally suit an individual who has experience working in the third sector or social enterprise organisations. Embracing Riverside House’s objectives, vision, values, purpose, and method, the successful applicant would ideally have hands-on practical experience in land stewardship, ecology and project management, including implementing stewardship and site management plans. Experience of working with a wide range of beneficiaries, including adults and children with autism, learning disabilities and mental health challenges would be an advantage.

Riverside House is an ambitious social regeneration project located at a once derelict and neglected grade II listed 19th Century iron masters house and grounds, in the historic heart of Stourbridge. The site has been repurposed into a stunning Health & Wellbeing Centre.
Meaningful, social activities, in a conducive environment, can make a significant difference to the quality of our lives. This is achieved through the delivery of traditional crafts, the arts, ecology, heritage and food and land-based activities.
