Culligan International offers technologically advanced, state of the rt water filtration products, including: water softeners, water filtration systems, industrial water treatment solutions, drinking water systems and whole-house filtration systems.
Reporting to the Senior HRBP the role acts as a thought partner to managers and senior leaders within their region/business entity. Providing guidance and support in all aspects of HR to support delivery of business performance. They support the Senior HRBP to help leaders develop and execute the HR agenda that closely supports organisational goals, business growth and maximise performance and are able to work both strategically and operationally to help deliver the very best ‘value add’ for the business.
The HR Manager will support the day to day employee lifecycle activity as well as delivery of key projects including reward and benefits, restructure, TUPE and culture change programs, supporting stakeholders across multiple sites.
What we're looking for:
- Ability to build good relationships enabling you to be a trusted thought partner to our managers through open, honest and challenging dialogue
- Coach, develop and provide expert advice to managers and senior leaders on all areas of the employee life cycle to enable confident line management decision making and effective people management capability, along with the ability to identify areas for manager people development and upskill as required,
- Attend HR / ER meetings relating to employment matters such as performance, capability, attendance management and grievance & disciplinary to drive best practice
- Manage any associated risks with decision making, ensuring that employment legislation is adhered to, whilst balancing this with a strong commercial awareness
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives to support the people strategy
- Develop and utilise HR data and insight to help inform and support decisions which impact business performance and help drive continuous improvement
- Support M&A activity including TUPE and redundancy and subsequent change management
- Coach and provide guidance to embed the principles underpinning the annual performance review (PPM) process.
- Support and complete the talent review process, working in partnership with key stakeholders, to enable this insight to feed into the overall business talent and succession plans
- Promote inclusive processes which support talent and succession planning, driving a high-performance culture that aligns with our DE&I strategy and creates an inclusive pipeline of future talent
- Act as a thought partner to managers and senior leaders to assist in hiring decisions and ensuring that the Topgrading/ competency interview principles are followed to ensure fairness and consistency. Support recruitment processes as necessary.
- Work with the Senior HRBP to identify trends and future facing issues and proactively plan accordingly
- Work in collaboration with the Internal Communications team on the wellbeing and employee benefits agenda and ensure a funnel of relevant and engaging content is shared with them to utilise on Hey Culligan
- Identify opportunities to develop and align HR policies and procedures across business entities, supporting the annual policy review
- Utilise data and resources to provide insight and analysis to senior stakeholders to help drive continuous improvement
- Promote a culture of collaboration and working together to deliver the organisation’s vision, values and strategic objectives
- Support the effortless onboarding experience, ensuring that new joiner experience a positive experience
- Work in collaboration with the HR Hub to ensure an effective and efficient transactional HR service to all colleagues
- Supporting regular governance payroll calls
Requirements for the role:
- You are flexible in your approach as on occasions there may be a requirement to travel to other sites across the UK. However the role also offers the flexibility for some remote working as well as office.
- You will need to be able to manage your time effectively whilst working on a range of complex matters within a fast-paced commercial environment
- You will require a demonstrated knowledge of employment legislation with experience of large scale projects i.e TUPE
- You are professional and personable with the ability to quickly build rapport and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- You possess excellent communication skills both written and verbally with the ability to influence at all levels
- CIPD level 5 qualified is desirable but not required as long as you can demonstrate that you have the relevant experience
