Part Time Independent Optical Assistant/ Dispensing Optician role based near Camden offering fantastic clinical development and a supportive work environment.

We are currently working with a highly-established independent practice based in Camden to recruit for a Dispensing Optician/ Optical Assistant to join their team.

Established over 10 years ago, the practice has forged an envious reputation by operating to the highest standards of patient care and offers an exceptional work environment for an aspiring Dispensing Optician to take the next step in their career.

As part of their team you will be expected to bring excellent patient care to the table. You will benefit from a loyal patient base and an excellent footprint in the community, working with a close knit & friendly team to match where excellent training and support is given

Key Duties

• This is a part time role for 3 or 4 days a week with general working hours 9:30am- 5:30pm
• Plush independent practice that specialises in high end dispensing including designer frames such as Lindberg and Anne & Valentin
• This Practice take the time to deliver a genuinely personalised and caring service where standard test times last 45 minutes while they have built up their reputation as a clinically leading practice
• Modern practice equipped with the latest technology including a fully paperless practice management system
• Working closely alongside the business owner/Optometrist where everyone gets to have a say in how the practice is run
• Excellent opportunity for a Dispensing Optician/ Optical Assistant at the early stages of their career to develop with an independent practice

Package and Benefits

• Basic Salary up to 30,000 depending on experience
• Team bonus based on practice performance
• All your professional fees are reimbursed by the practice
• Excellent training and CET provided, with the opportunity to work in an engaging and varied environment
• Full or part-time role with flexible days, minimum 3 days required
• 4 weeks holiday + bank holidays (28 days total)
• Closed Sundays and Bank Holidays

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Must be registered with the GOC if you are a Dispensing Optician
• Applications welcome from Optical Assistants or newly qualified Dispensing Opticians as training is superb
• Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
