A day in the life of…

As a Director of MICE Sales you will produce a commercial plan that interprets business objectives and maps out the actions and strategies to support the positioning of the hotel. Reporting into the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will drive the strategic sales plan across the business and establish new business through a variety of activities, with a strong focus on high volume MICE sales. You will be responsible for establishing new opportunities within the marketplace, promoting awareness of the business and increasing visibility on both a national and international level. Utilising this intelligence, you will develop strategic plans and ensure the hotel remains competitive in the marketplace.

What do we need from you?

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a MICE Sales Manager capacity. As the commercial expert for this hotel, you will be able to comfortably discuss business performance and make informed decisions/recommendations at a senior level. We do business on an international stage and so a willingness to travel at a regional, national and international level is required.

A good knowledge of OnQ PMS and CRM systems is preferred, although training will be given.

This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with the senior management team on-property and upskilling the team to ensure we maximise revenue at every opportunity.
