Ground Worker Multiskilled

Working in our properties across Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire (including Peterborough, March, Corby, Kettering, Northampton and Milton Keynes)

Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw Monday to Friday, with on call on a rota basis)

Circa £35,130 per annum plus van, generous on call allowance and great benefits including Health Cash Plan

Typical day as a Bricklayer

• As multi skilled Bricklayer, all allocated jobs are completed right first time, with a whole job repair approach, providing a brilliant service for our customers.
• Bricklaying across repairs, maintenance and property refurbishments.
• Delivering high-quality and compliant work.
• Multi skilling to improve first time fixes and prevent multiple visits to customers’ homes.
• Working in our properties across Northampton (needs to be a commutable distance for you). All jobs are scheduled so you know exactly where you need to be.

You have

• City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in brickwork or equivalent.
• Experience in all aspects of bricklaying within a maintenance environment.
• Experience in other building trade areas (multi skilled).
• A flexible approach, able to use your own initiative and judgement.
• A full current driving licence as you’ll be provided with a company van for business use and commuting.

Job details

• Working Monday to Friday, you’ll also be asked to take part in our out of hours service on a rota with colleagues with an additional generous on call payment.
• You’ll work in our properties across Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire (including Peterborough, March, Corby, Kettering, Northampton and Milton Keynes). Our office base is Northampton (Pavillion Drive).
• You must be able to use technology for logging jobs, complete online learning and collaborating with other colleagues.
• You’ll need a Basic DBS check done and we pay for that.
