METAL WORK PRODUCTION OPERATIVE

EXETER

MONDAY - FRIDAY

14:00 to 22:30 MONDAY - THURSDAY

14:00 - 19:30 FRIDAY

£11.80 - £12.64 PER HOUR

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for metal work production operatives to work out of their brand new workshop based in the Skypark Business Park on the edge of Exeter.

About the role:
Working with metals including stainless steel, brass and mild steel to manufacture parts.
Using a wide range of tools and machinery, including punch presses and brakes, and power presses.
Welding, polishing and grinding.
Painting/degreasing

About you:
Willingness to learn new skills and be trained across a variety of operations.
A team player with excellent communication skills.
Flexibility to carry out a variety of tasks on a daily basis.
Comfortable handling heavy items.
A forklift licence would be advantageous but is not essential.

This is a temporary role that would lead to a permanent position after 12 weeks, and could become a long-term career for the right candidate.
