Job description
Our client has built a solid reputation supporting military and regional operators since the 1980’s. The company strive to build relationships with our customers that last. The company are a dedicated MRO shop offering landing gear and associated hydraulic support for the civilian, cargo, aerial firefighting and military markets.
The role
Fitter and Fettler required to join a well-established aircraft repair and overhaul company in the Harlow area. Someone to join our team who is capable and efficient to hone their skills within the role and keen to develop and advance their career within the company.
Key accountabilities
• To provide a busy workshop support by fettling various metal components to a high standard.
• To fit metal bushes into aircraft components to a specific tolerance.
• Ensure all jobs are completed within the estimated times.
• Comply with the relevant health and safety regulations and policies applicable to this position and working environment.
Skills & experience
• Willingness and ability to follow directions to achieve results.
• Ability to work methodically and accurately with a high attention to detail.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Work effectively as part of a team and on own initiative.
• Previous mechanical or engineering experience would be ideal but full training will be given
