Personal Assistant / Carer Required
Macclesfield area (SK11)
£11 per hour
We are looking to recruit a personal assistant / Carer for a gentleman with dementia in the Macclesfield area.
This gentleman is younger than usual dementia patients and lives with his wife and currently has some care provision in place each day but due to his wife’s work commitments we are looking for care assistant staff to support between the hours of 8.30am to 10.00am and 2.30pm to 5.30pm.
This is not required every day so any applicant would not need to commit to a set number of hours as these can be agreed on a week by week basis, however someone who is flexible and reliable with care experience is key.
The gentleman has a calm demeanour and is mobile but is unable to look after himself and therefore he needs to have constant supervision. He is happy wandering around the house, enjoys listening to music or sitting in front of the TV. He would also enjoy short walks in nice weather.
Hours & Pay Rate
£11 per hour
Hours are flexible as above
Car driver preferred but not essential

Basic general monitoring & company
Personal care
Making drinks
Personal Assistant Specification
The suitable candidate will need to complete a full enhanced DBS check prior to employment. This will be paid for by your employer.
The suitable candidate will have a full, clean driving licence due to the nature of the role.
Experience with working with dementia is preferred and experience with personal care required.
Easy going & friendly. Flexibility around hours able to work which may differ week on week.
