Quality & Development Manager (Deputy Nursery Manager)
As a Quality & Development Manager, you will support the Nursery Manager to provide high quality care and education for all children in a fun and stimulating environment while nurturing excellent relationships with parents and focusing on building the foundations for learning for every child in line with our key values!
Location: Brentford, Middlesex, TW8
Salary: £29,000- £37,000 per annum (Depending on experience/qualification)
Days/Hours: 40 Hours // Monday to Friday
Deputy Nursery Manager Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification or above in childcare
- To be the suitable person in charge of the nursery in the absence of the Nursery Manager
- To support the Nursery Manager in all aspects to ensure the effective and efficient running of the nursery.
- To ensure that policies and procedures are embedded effectively, along with all aspects of the EYFS and Ofsted regulation requirements.
- To support the Nursery Manager to ensure that safeguarding requirements are always met.
- To support the Nursery Manager in ensuring that all
- Support and work closely with all involved in any transition of the child, from room to room, between settings or the move to school.
- To oversee the implementation of our unique curriculum, observation and planning.
- To oversee the leadership and management of your room (if applicable) to ensure that the safety, safeguarding and learning and development for all children in line with the EYFS and our key values.
- To work as a member of the team to ensure safety, learning and development and parent partnerships for all children and families.
- To adhere to our collection policy ensuring that only a known person collects children.
- Ensure all policies / procedures and risk assessments are read, understood, and adhered to.
- Attend regular staff meetings and parents’ evenings.
- Be aware of the high profile of the nursery and uphold its standards at all times both within working hours and outside.
