Specific Job Role
You will be working with a lady, who has MNDand is not able to communicate verballyso uses eye gaze to do this.
She loves chatting and laughing with her carers and needs time to get messages across using her eye gaze system. She also loves being outdoors when she can get out with her family and her family means a lot to her. She used to love playing tennis, reading science fiction books and cooking for her family. She listens to audiobooks and loves to watch films with her carers.
Shift Pattern
With this client, you'll be engaged in a 4-week live-in assignment, succeeded by a 2-week rest period. Following 1-week rest, you have the option to work with another client for 1 week.Alternatively, if eligible, you can be a part of our Standby rota, working conveniently from home. To support your journey, we provide comprehensive training, equipping you to excel in your caregiving role.
While living in with the client you will work set average hoursduring the day with a protected break. Overnight you will sleep in your own room.

Job Overview
The Carer (sometimes called a PA) will assist the client with care, daily living and moving and handling needs. The specific duties will be outlined in the Client's care plan and daily activities on our electronic visit system and will include assistance with washing and dressing (personal care), spinal injury toileting, mobility support (moving and handling), preparing fresh nutritious meals and more. Full training and support to deliver the care required will be provided.
Responsibilities:
Observe and record client's health status.
Assist clients with activities of daily living.
Provide childcare services to children and elderly. Monitor and ensure the safety of the client.
Maintain client confidentiality.
Notify clients of changes in medications.
Arrange for transportation for appointments for the client.
