Role Overview:

Position: Nursery Assistant
Hours: Full-time, fixed hours from 8:15am – 3:30pm.
Days: Flexible days fixed hours from 8:15am – 3:30pm.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in providing care and support to children in the nursery setting, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Collaborate with the nursery team to create engaging and stimulating activities that promote children’s learning and development.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a nurturing and inclusive environment.
• Support the implementation of daily routines and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
• Maintain a clean and organized learning environment that is conducive to children’s growth and exploration.

Ideal Candidate Qualities:

• Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently and with great care, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Kind, compassionate, patient, and empathetic towards children’s individual needs.
