Teacher of French
MPS/UPS (£30,000 - £46,525)
Permanent, Full time
Start date: 1st September 2024
Part time working would be considered for exceptional applicants.
We're looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, talented and inspirational permanent Teacher of French:
- You’ll be a experienced Teacher of French/MFL and consistently deliver good / outstanding lessons and student outcomes
- You'll secure and sustain a positive climate to learning and behaviour of students
- You'll promote the inclusion and acceptance of all students within the classroom
- You'll encourage students to interact and work cooperatively with others and engage, challenge, motivate and reinforce self-esteem with all students in activities
- You'll support the Curriculum Leader in all aspects of the leadership and management of the mathematics area.
- You'll ensure that high standards of teaching and marking, assessment and feedback lead to good and outstanding progress and attainment in MFL for all students
- You'll alongside the Curriculum Leader inspire, motivate and influence staff, in securing the highest standards of teaching and learning in order to promote student progress
- You'll alongside the Curriculum Leader develop and embed, as required, a consistent approach to marking assessment and feedback
- You'll form part of maths leaders who with the Curriculum Leader lead the strategic direction of the Area
You will demonstrate;
- Recent, relevant teaching (or teaching practice) of KS3 and KS4 MFL in a secondary / comprehensive school
- Up to date knowledge of the MFL curriculum at KS3 and KS4
- Energy, persistence and enthusiasm, tempered with humour
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to relate well with both children and adults
- Willingness to participate in extra-curricular activities
You’ll have Qualified Teacher Status and be prepared to embark upon further training as required.
