Job description
An exciting opportunity has become available for Assembly Operatives to join a well-maintained, organised manufacturing company, being part of a welcoming and great team. You must have assembly experience with complex mechanical and electro-mechanical components and understand engineering drawings to complete these assemblies.
Duties include
- Complete tasks in a safe working manner and in line with the company H&S policies.
- Use of various hand & bench tools.
- Manufacture cable harnesses and loom assemblies
- Great understanding of Engineering drawings and work instructions to produce assemblies and components.
- Quality focused in Mechanical / Electro Mechanical assembly tasks.
- Produce quality components.
- Adhere to 5's principles and Lean fundamentals.
Essential Experience/ Skills
- Cable harness assembly experience
- Mechanical experience
- Able to use multiple hand tools
- Computer literate with Microsoft platforms
- Able to have the patience to problem solve
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Standard educational level including English, Maths & Science
