**Commercial Counsel- In-House (4 years PQE+) **
Are you a commercial lawyer interested in their first move in-house or a legal counsel keen to take that next step? This is an exciting opportunity to work for this fast growing tech client as part of their award winning in-house legal team and get exposure to some high level, complex contract negotiations with an impressive client base. This role is based in their Belfast office.

Our client is a fast growing tech company who have been growing organically but have also acquired a number of businesses over the last few years. Their in-house legal team has won a number of awards for their innovation of delivery and the deals they have executed, so this is one of the most exciting in-house teams to work for in the NI market. The team has almost doubled over the last number of years and this growth is set to continue. For the right person there is a clear and exciting career path.
Why this role?
The Role
Working as part of this growing team the senior legal counsel will be required to draft, negotiate and review a wide range of complex technology contracts and agreements to include master services agreements, statements of work, and supplier, partner and consultancyagreements. You will also be required to advise internal stakeholders on a range of other matters to include disputes, regulatory compliance, exports, competition, security and privacy.
The Person
Ideally you will meet the following criteria
- Qualified Solicitor - Ideally 4+ years PQE
- PQE gained working as a commercial lawyer in a leading firm or working in-house for a leading company
- Knowledge of privacy regulations (GDPR, e-Privacy Directive, etc.) and the ability to incorporate and revise those evolving requirements into the customer and supplier facing agreements.
- Ideally you will have some previous experience of the negotiation and drafting of technology contracts
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels
