Operations Manager / Engineering Manager / Quality Engineer required to join a leading engineering manufacturer.
The successful Operations Manager / Engineering Manager / Quality Manager will be office based in Huddersfield overseeing and optimising the manufacturing process of the business.
The successful Operations Manager / Engineering Manager / Quality Manager will have experience in management, procurement, operations, buying, or similar within an engineering sector such as Power Transmission, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Valves, Motors, Gearboxes, Chain, Pulleys, Cylinders, Actuators, Pumps, Filtration, Compressors, similar Mechanical engineering products.

Operations Manager / Engineering Manager / Quality Manager Role - Oversee and optimise the manufacturing process of the business, ensuring optimal efficiency, and quality.
- Provide strategic leadership of various engineering departments to ensure production goals.
- Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
- Lead and manage the workshop team in regard to costs, quality and delivery.
- Conduct audits and have an involvement in ISO9001.
- Office based in Huddersfield.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
Operations Manager / Engineering Manager / Quality Manager Requirements - Experience as a operations manager, workshop manager, depot manager, purchasing manager, buyer, procurement manager, branch manager, general manager, or similar.
- Experience providing operational support within the mechanical engineering industry such as Power Transmission, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Valves, Motors, Gearboxes, Chain, Pulleys, Cylinders, Actuators, Pumps, Filtration, Compressors, or similar MRO / Mechanical engineering products.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Gearbox experience is advantageous.
- Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable engineering manufacturer.
- A technical Engineering Degree would be advantageous.
- Commutable to Huddersfield
