Job description

Our client, a Nationwide network integration and AV installation and design company, is currently recruiting for a Data Cabling Engineer to join their Installation team. The Data Cabling Engineer will be responsible for the Planning and Installation of structured cabling.

Responsibilities for the Data Cabling Engineer
• Site surveys and pre-installation meetings.
• Installation of structured cabling (CAT 6/6A/7) systems, including multimode fibre
• Terminate, test and labelling of cables within patch panels and data outlets
• Installation of floor-mounted communication cabinets and server racks with attention to detail towards cable management and dressing in.

Key Skills & Experience for the Data Cabling Engineer
Essential
• Experience in the Installation of structured cabling (CAT 6/6A/7) systems is essential
• Basic AV experience with displays, audio systems and meeting rooms is desirable but not essential.
• Full UK Driving License
• Strong written and spoken communication skills
