We have a new opportunity for an enthusiastic Domestic Groundcare Sales Office Manager to join and manage the Groundcare Sales team here at Head Office based in Essex.
Role Purpose:
You will be responsible for the overall running of the Domestic Groundcare Sales Office, which includes stock control of the domestic machinery showroom, warehouse operations and the online shop sales (Lawn Mowers Direct). You will deliver an excellent service in all daily operations of the department and will be involved in the sales and planning.
Qualifications
Main Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Previous management experience is essential
- Knowledge of Domestic Groundcare machinery and/or the Groundcare industry is desirable
- Familiarity with stock ordering, sales processes and supplier negotiations
- Able to understand all areas of our sales process for new Groundcare equipment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal diplomatically with customers, colleagues, employees and suppliers in a polite and professional manner
- Excellent attention to detail
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft office to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate to all levels of the business
- Act with discretion when dealing with matters of a confidential nature
- Be organized with the ability to multitask efficiently
- Have a flexible and approachable manner
- Be self-motivated with the ability to work well with others
- Be confident and show initiative
- First class keyboard and PC skills
- Accuracy with numbers and handling of cash
- Professional and tidy appearance
- Attention to detail
