Job description

Granby Marketing Services Ltd in Blackburn are recruiting for an Apprentice Warehouse Operative. The successful candidate will work towards their Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative qualification which will take approximately 14 months to complete.

Duties will include:
• Control stock
• Goods in and out
• Organise them to get ready for dispatch
• Unloading lorries
• Stock, picking, packing, locating
• General housekeeping
• To maintain health and safety within the warehouse
• Stacking pallets
• Practical working
• Take instructions from Warehouse manager
• Wrap pallets

Requirements:
• Trustworthy

• Have a good understanding of Health and safety
• Good numeric skills
• Computer literate
• Communication
• Willingness to learn
• Team working
• Good attention to detail
• Hands on and able to control manual handling

Monday - Friday 9:00am-5:00pm / 30 mins lunch / 2 x 15 min breaks / 37.5 hours pw
