The role
Following the retirement of the current post holder you will report to the Director of Social Services and lead our Adult Social Services teams to deliver services to our communities. You will work collaboratively with our partners at a local, regional and national level. You will be supported by a committed and talented staff team and work collaboratively with the top tier of our senior management team in delivering Adult Social Services to our residents.
You will be a values based leader and have a key role in advising elected members and the senior management team on service provision in relation to Adult Social Services. You will ensure service delivery and statutory responsibilities are maintained and lead large and complex budgets, and ensure that services are financially sustainable.
