An established and successful firm of accountants based in Ashbourne are seeking to hire a key Tax job role, suited to anyone from a Tax Semi-Senior through to Tax Manager or Tax Senior level. Full or part time hours can be considered for someone with suitable experience gained from working in an accountancy firm, plus hybrid working and high levels of flexibility about office time can be accommodated. Strong perks, benefits, salary and development opportunity is on offer.

The client base here is impressive, including wealthy individuals, land owners, agricultural / food production and a variety of commercial businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tax returns for a portfolio of clients and building working relationships with the clients in that portfolio
• Liaising with clients and HMRC
• Assist clients with tax compliance and planning queries
• Tax advice and tax planning on areas such as cash extraction planning, including dividends and salary planning, property rental, pensions reliefs, benefits in kind, coding notices, Capital Gains Tax, taxation of trusts and estates
• Trusts work
• Researching technical advisory matters
