Job description

Has credibility with technology staff and managerial leaders. Can understand and learn quickly about relevant service delivery issues, take governance/due diligence processes and ethics into account and successfully engage and influence technical and managerial colleagues at all levels of the organisation in relation to cyber security. Manage network projects and workstreams across multiple resources within the team, external teams and third parties.Attend technical project board meetings to capture and advise on associated networking requirements, including resourcing levels, costs, and timescales. To ensure that there are robust contractual agreements with third party suppliers and that these are monitored on a regular basis as part of service review meetings, ensuring best value and service is achieved from the contracts. Can proficiently interpret and document technical IT systems, processes and architecture in relation to Network and communications to a high standard and verbally/visually present to a range of internal and external stakeholders. Works in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to document and communicate proposed and existing technical configuration documentation in relation to field of expertise. A high degree of autonomy is expected from the post holder. Advice andsupport in decision making can be obtained from the Head of Technology and relevant governance group such as architecture board, change board and cyber security group if required.
