Job Description:
As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all project delivery aspects within our organisation. This position requires a combination of office–based responsibilities and nationwide site visits as per business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys and generate scope documents for projects.
- Assist the Estimator/QS in project costing.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and suppliers to finalize designs.
- Develop, finalise, and manage construction schedules.
- Coordinate with clients to prepare for site operations commencement.
- Aid in procuring subcontractors and materials for projects.
- Prepare and distribute Pre–Construction Information Packs where necessary.
- Develop, distribute, and finalize Construction Phase Plans, Risk Assessments, and Method Statements.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations under CDM.
- Manage design changes with clients and subcontractors.
- Coordinate suppliers and subcontractors to meet project standards and deadlines.
- Assist QS in managing project commercial aspects.
- Facilitate project handover to clients, including Health & Safety File and O&M information.
- Collaborate with Quantity Surveyor and site staff to manage contract works effectively and mitigate risks.
- Cultivate sustainable relationships with clients.
Required / Desired Skills:
- Essential experience in a similar role.
- Professional qualification preferred but not essential.
- Self–motivated with strong teamwork skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Effective time management and prioritization abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem–solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills (phone, email, in–person).
- Proficiency in managing paperwork and electronic documents.
- Strong organizational skills in time and task management.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and programming software.
- Knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulation requirements.
