Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Location: Caerphilly
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30am-15:00pm
Pay: £13 per hour

Teaching Personnel are seeking Special Needs Teaching Assistants to work within a lovely secondary school in the Caerphilly area. This is an exciting opportunity to work with pupils with additional learning needs and make a positive impact on their school experience.

What the role entails:

• Supporting learners aged between 11-16 with special needs.
• Working closely with learners with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Global Development Delay and Mental Health needs.
• Offering literacy and numeracy support.
• Keeping pupils concentrating within lessons.
• Providing life skills and emotional support.

This role is until July 2024 with the potential of going permanent pending successful probationary period.

Start date: Monday 8 th April 2024 (earlier start can be negotiated).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
