Consultant (energy) - Chorley
Functional Consultant, Energy, Utilities, Business Analyst, Client Facing, Workshops, TrainingThis highly successful organisation are looking for a Consultant/Business Analyst to join an established software development team with technical understanding of application development and knowledge of the software development life cycle. Relevant operational experience within the UK Energy or Utilities sector is required.
Key duties includes:
- Support existing and potential customers through delivery of knowledge transfer and product support to the CRM and billing systems.
- To perform a lead role to prospects, customers and the project team members on the optimal approach to implementing a solution to the customers’ business need.
- Identify solutions to business issues and opportunities
- Educating customers through the delivery of knowledge transfer, training, configuration, implementation and product support
- Interpreting industry requirements for customer and identifying new opportunities resulting from industry process, client engagement and business requirements changes
- To take a lead role in the successful delivery and implementation of projects
Core skills & experience for this Consultant role includes:- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Consultant or BA with relevant operational experience within Energy or Utilities sector.
- Must demonstrate strong leadership skills, particularly with highly diverse teams
- Comfortable in running workshop sessions with customers
- Experienced in performing Quality Assurance checks for implementations
- Experience guiding customers to configure out-of-the-box software that meet requirements
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
