Chesham House Community Centre offers a wide variety of activities as well as being a warm, comfortable place to meet, eat and play. From dancing to crafts, book clubs to knitting, we host a range of social groups to support older people and prevent feelings of isolation and loneliness.
We re currently looking for a Cleaner to join us on a part–time basis for a fixed term contract until 24th November 2024.
The Role As a Cleaner, you will deliver excellent cleaning services throughout all areas of the Chesham House Centre building.
Adhering to Health and Safety policies and procedures, your duties will include:
– Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
– Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops and loose furniture
– Cleaning toilets, sinks and kitchen fixtures
– Emptying all bins
– Liaising with your line manager to ensure that there is sufficient stock of cleaning products
– Reporting any breakages or repair requirements
Working Hours This is a part–time role, working two hours per day, Monday Friday, for a fixed term contract until 24th November 2024.
What you ll need – Knowledge of cleaning solution and their uses
– Working knowledge of health and safety standards
– Excellent organisation and cleaning skills
