We're looking for someone who is self-driven and has demonstrable entrepreneurial spirit, and a can-do attitude. Due to company expansion this is a new role, you will work closely with the production manager.
Process Engineer Benefits:

Process Engineer Responsibilities:
- Optimise manufacturing processes to improve usages, minimise waste, increase capacity, production rates and increase productivity.
- Simplify standards and standardising manual operations.
- Improve plant ergonomics, efficiency of assets and the safety of production processes.
- Responsible for improvements on plant and processes under their responsibility.
- Develop delay projects, capacity increase projects and projects associated with new products.
- Ensure the continuous improvement of plant efficiency.
- Implement of productivity programs.
- Demonstrate project management techniques to achieve project objectives, ensuring compliance with cost, quality, and implementation costs.
- Ensure production procedures are written and updated.
- Ensure execution of SAP production confirmations.
- Ensure the implementation of quality and EHS programs.
- Provide training on procedures to operatives.
- Act as production supervisor back-up in areas in which they are responsible.
Process Engineer Experience / Skills:
- Science degree.
- At least 2 years' experience.
- Project management skills.
- Lean six sigma green belt is beneficial.
- High desire and courage to learn new skills.
- Self-starter and strong leadership skills.
- Value stream mapping.
- Kaizen facilitation.
- Kanban planning.
- 5S.
- Visual controls and visual factory.
- Statistical techniques and designed experiments.
