Job description
Tony Gee and Partners is looking for a Senior Drainage Engineer to join the team in St Albans.
Due to our growing portfolio of rail drainage projects we are looking to expand the team.
We service a number of clients, both internally and externally, and are often required to provide innovative solutions to challenging and constrained sites, within tight programmes.
For the right individual there is an opportunity to lead and grow the team, and become a recognised ‘champion’ within the business. We have a good cohort of capable graduate and design engineers, that need hands on support and direction. This candidate will report directly in to the Regional Director.
Recent relevant experience of designing and implementing a range of drainage solutions in the rail and/or highways sectors
Familiarity with a range of drainage design standards and hydraulic design approaches
Experience with Micro drainage or other design software
Working within a multidisciplinary team environment
A client-focused approach, with understanding of construction best practice.
Live within a commutable distance of St Albans Office
Wider rail sector and/or highways sector design experience outside drainage
Civil Engineering or equivalent degree, MEng preferred. MICE or equivalent
