Role: Principal Developer/Lead Developer
Location: South West London
Salary: £115k base
Exciting career opportunity available for a bright Principal or Lead Developer to join our client, as part of their journey of establishing a new in-house software development environment.
You will initially work as the sole developer with the senior management team, responsible for developing web applications using the Blazor framework, which is a component-based web framework built on top of C#.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of thinking outside of the box on solutions and challenging the norm, in pushing boundaries on what can be done in creating a "world-class" environment. You are likely to have recently completed a similar job whereby you were instrumental as a principal or lead C#/ASP.NET Developer within a large complex environment. Alternatively, you may have played a significant role as part of a wider Software Development team but are now keen to apply lessons learnt in taking ownership as a principal or lead capacity within a new environment.

Key Skills/Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in C# programming language.
- Solid understanding of web development technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with the Blazor framework and its component-based architecture.
- Knowledge of developing APIs and consuming APIs.
- Experience with Back End technologies and frameworks like ASP.NET Core
- Experience with web APIs and RESTful services for integrating with Back End systems.
- Experience with version control systems like Git/MS DevOps.
- Understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
