Job Description
- Act as a strategic partner to finance and operational stakeholders, understanding their requirements and translating them into software specifications and solutions.
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of finance-related software systems, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and industry best practices.
- Partner with IT teams and software vendors to customise and integrate finance software applications, driving seamless data flow and functionality across platforms.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools to provide actionable insights and support informed decision-making.
- Conduct thorough analysis of financial data and processes, identifying opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and cost savings.
- Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to ensure software implementations adhere to regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Provide training and support to finance and operational teams on new software systems and tools, fostering adoption and proficiency.
The Successful Applicant
- Immediately available or available within short notice
- Some experience in a similar role is desirable
- Some experience with software implementation is desirable
- Part-qualified or QBE
- This opportunity would suit someone with a drivers license
- Highly organised and flexible
