Job description
we are looking for someone very special to help us with our beautiful but extremely anxious dog Luna for a mixture of walks / doggy day care for dates in June 13-18, July 23-25 and then 2 weeks in September 8-21. As well as this possibly other days going forward. She is a rescue & petrified of other dogs as she was never socialised & we think was probably attacked when a puppy. We got her at 9 months. She is now 8 and a lovely, sweet girl & loves walks but needs to be away from other dogs. She never goes up to a dog but if there is one near she goes on the lead & we try & divert our route. She will bark a lot & appears aggressive but is just scared. I also have a warning label on her lead which seems to help. Her recall is excellent & she doesn’t wander off - always wants to know where you are! In the house she likes to be wherever you are & loves attention & is a real leaner! I retired last year so have been with her all the time which she loves & usually my daughter looks after her when we go away. However she is just finishing her degree & actually wants to come away with us this year ! My son lives at home with us with his girlfriend but works full time so the only day he is around for Luna is Sunday & alternate Saturday’s. Hence she is fine once he is home at 6 but would need day care. There might also be days where she just needs a walk if my husband is working from home or if Lauren is home. We live in Bransgore, & we will need regular care for her going forward for holidays, and are desperately trying to find the right person
