Job description
SMT GB Service Advisor – Stirling
40 hours per week
Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm
Organising servicing and repair activities, you’ll be responsible for the co-ordination of materials, labour and other necessary resources. As the First point of contact for service calls, you’ll also be:
• Scheduling and co-ordinating Field Service Engineers, materials and other resources
• Planning service and inspection work and ordering parts
• Opening and closing repair or non-contract service jobs
• Participating in meetings, toolbox talks etc. and support with training/coaching colleagues
• Carrying out workshop, yard and wash bay equipment inspections
• Creating purchase orders and invoices
• Deputising for the Service Delivery Manager, during periods of holiday or other absence

Ideally, you’ll have experience from a similar role and the ability to manage resources through planning and coordinating. With an understanding of mechanical servicing/repair terminology and ideally the ability to read and understand parts catalogues. You’ll also have an excellent telephone manner and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
