Department

As a Research Associate, you will contribute to an NIHR programme development grant (AMICABLE-SCOPE), developing and evaluating self-harm screening tools for use in prisons. This post expands on ongoing work to develop an intervention to support the mental health of people in custody - the AMICABLE project: . This appointment will be linked to the wider AMICABLE team.

You will be employed by the Mental Health and Addiction Research Group at the Department of Health Sciences, University of York. You will be based at one prison (HMP Lindholme, HMP Styal, HMP Manchester, or one other location TBC). Travel between prison sites, and to the University of York, will be required.

Role

The main purpose of the role is to conduct research under the supervision of senior colleagues and contribute to the production of research relating to the AMICABLE-SCOPE project.
