Job description

We are currently seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance at the Birmingham site. With a strong focus on ensuring the safety, efficiency, and functionality of our facilities, the Facilities Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining a productive work environment. As a Facilities Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team and make strategic decisions that will contribute to the success of the company.

Facilities Manager Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of all facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and servicing
Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the facility
Manage the budget for facility operations, including forecasting and cost control measures
Coordinate with internal departments and external contractors to ensure timely execution of facility projects
Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to identify and address any safety hazards or maintenance issues
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and codes
Develop and implement energy-saving initiatives to promote sustainability in facility operations

Facilities Manager Requirements
Level 3 Engineering Qualification or above
10 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in large scale manufacturing
Proven track record of successfully managing and executing facility projects on time and within budget
Knowledge of legislative and compliance essentials necessary to carrying out a site facilities manager role
Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal departments and external contractors
Extensive experience in the use of SAP
