The training you will be getting

Painter and Decorator Level 2.

Functional skills in maths and English (if required). 

The apprentice will be enrolled for NVQ2 qualifications and acquire work experience.

The position is for a two-year foundation level programme, at the of which the apprentice will undergo a performance assessment.

The post-holder is required to work 40 hours per week, but due to the nature of the position the post-holder must have a flexible approach to working hours and weekend duties, particularly when major events or functions are held. The post holder will also be expected to assist as necessary with emergencies throughout the Estate, which could involve out-of-hours working.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

There are opportunities for specialist decorative work or to go onto becoming a professional Painter and Decorator.
