Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 gross per annum – depending on experience

Description

A House/Grounds Manager is required for a lovely couple based in Hertford (SG13)

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 gross per annum – depending on experience

Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Duties:

• Groundsperson
• Handyperson
• Basic electrical & plumbing skills
• Cleaning patio/garden furniture/BBQ
• Driving duties
• Liaising with contractors
• Small repairs
• Ensuring septic tank/generators/air con units/diesel & oil tank are functioning correctly
• Running errands
• Booking in & supervising maintenance/servicing all machinery & equipment, both internal & external
• Helping with feeding & looking after cats, including taking cats to vets
• Mowing & helping with ground maintenance when needed

You must:

• Have previous experience as a house/grounds manager with checkable references to support your application
• Hold a current DBS or be willing to undertake one
• Be a driver with own car
• Be tech savvy & able to troubleshoot
• Be organised & good with paperwork
• Like cats
• Be comfortable working in all weathers
• Have a good level of English
