Job description

NRL are currently recruiting a Quality Engineer / Team Leader for a temp-to-perm role based on an Offsite Manufacturing Plant in Oldbury.

Daily Duties:

• Ensures that the day to day inspection requirements of the organisation are carried out in line with operational and business growth
• Accountable for all quality packs completed and forwarded to clients in a timely manner
• Responsible to ensure that product meets all specifications and standards in line with DWG requirements prior to dispatch
• Raising Internal & External NCR’s, sub-contractors and production staff that do not conform to standards and track progress of completion ready for approval & analyse the trends.
• Create Quality Alerts and communicate them as required for all issues encountered
• Liaise and assist the Quality Manager
• Documenting deviation and changes away from drawing to ensure traceability and evidence of change
• Support Quality Manager in process improvements to ensure that department runs efficiently and effectively
• Cover the Quality Manager role as and when required

Key Skills:

• Must have good man management skills.
• Able to use Microsoft and company software packages
• Good knowledge of MEP services.
• Understanding of structural and pipe fabrication and welding.
• An enthusiastic manner to strive for perfection in all areas.
• A resolute attitude that never waivers from standards.

Requirements:

• ILM level 3 supervisor 2020
• Quality team experience
• Construction experience

Working Hours:
7.30 - 4.30 Monday-Thursday
7.30 - 2.00 Friday


Rates of Pay: PAYE
