Job description
We are looking for a Deputy Service Manager to join our friendly but busy County Care office team in Windsor.
Ideally you will have experience of managing a team of carers and of undertaking care assessments of people needing care and support whilst working in close partnership with healthcare professionals, families and others. As a member of the office team you will be expected to hold the on call phone one week in every four and to cover emergency care calls as required.
As the working environment can often be hectic, you will need to be resilient, flexible and cheerful with a positive outlook.

Skills and experience required.
Minimum of level 3 in Health and Social Care
Management experience within a care setting including the supervising of care workers and the assessment of service user needs
An understanding of regulatory requirements
Excellent communication skills and fluent spoken and written English
An ability to demonstrate an aptitude for data inputting and the use of IT systems including Microsoft office
Experience of office processes such as archiving filing and stock checking systems
Able to multi-task and be flexible for the needs of the business
Reliable and trustworthy
Experience in delivering care necessary
Educational and additional requirements:
• NVQ level 3 or above
• Driving licence and car
• DBS check
