Job description
The role will be to support clinicians to undertake face to face Neurodevelopmental assessments for children including assessments for ADHD, Autism and Learning Difficulties as part of a multidisciplinary team in Huddersfield. Working days are Monday-Friday. Some aspects of the role such as report writing can be undertaken working from home. The role will also include attending team reviews and training days as well as service meetings. Experience of working within child and adolescent learning disability and/ or mental health services or as part of a team undertaking Autism and/ or ADHD assessments in children and young people is essential. The role may include some or all of the following: Supporting interviews to explore the young persons developmental history relating to Autism, ADHD and Learning. This may include using a service developed developmental history interview, the ADI-R, ACE, ACE+ or Young DIVA assessments. Observing 1:1 play based/ activity session with the young person (and/or ADOS if required) Undertaking QB assessments Cognitive Assessments School observations Liaison with schools and other professionals, parents and young people Additional psychometrics Multidisciplinary team meetings Service Evaluation and audit Developing key communications for service users and professionals Supporting Neurodevelopmental Screening Assessments Report writing Record keeping Contributing to service databases Use of digital practice management systems Engaging in Clinical Supervision
