Job description
The University has received funding for one of three Hubs in Telecommunications, named ’Platform Driving the Ultimate Connectivity’ (TITAN). The TITAN consortium comprises 16 UK universities, each with distinct domain expertise in telecommunications. The University of Cambridge, through its LiFi Research Centre (LRC), is leading TITAN. The aim of this Hub is to lay the foundations for the future ’network of networks’ and to translate this research into emerging global standards, such as 6th generation (6G) wireless networks. Additionally, the University is involved in the second Telecoms Hub, ’All-Spectrum Connectivity’ (HASC), which is led by the University of Oxford, along with several other publicly funded projects aligned with TITAN.
