2. JOB PURPOSE:


HR Business Management
Manage, support and delivery on reporting activities associated to budgeting, Balance Score Card, Risk Management, Audit and Regulatory Compliance, related to Group Human Resources.
To ensure Group Human Resources is mitigating risk and adhering to the outlined risk framework of the bank
To perform as the assigned Operational Risk Assessor and deliver activities outlined in the group Operational Risk Manual.

4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

HR BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
Operational Risk Assessor (ORA)
To act as the first point of contact for staff at the business division for all Operational Risk management issues.
Recommend interim measures /controls until such time that a formal control is put in place for risks identified as high.
To ensure suitable and appropriate Key Indicators are established for each business unit
To ensure that Risk assessment (RCSA) is conducted for business unit and submit the same as per risk assessment schedule
To coordinate with the Operational Risk Management (GORM) on direction and best practice to mitigate risk within Group Human Resources.
Support and advise with specifics related to Operational Risk process’s, assist in training and understanding of related system
Audit Tracking and Closing
Track and update as and when required status of open audit issues related to Group Human Resources, submission of evidence to support updates.
Conduct discussion with auditors and business units to understand the underlying issues related and to action plan remediation.
Review and support International HR offices with requirements to resolve issues.

Conflict of Interest
THE ROLE HOLDER WILL BE EXPECTED TO ASSIST KEY STAKEHOLDERS (PRIMARILY: THEIR BUSINESS LINE, COMPLIANCE CONTROL ROOM AND GROUP HR) TO ENSURE CONFLICTS OF INTEREST AND FABS CODE OF CONDUCT POLICIES AND PROTOCOLS ARE UPHELD. THE ROLE HOLDER WILL ALSO PARTNER AND ADVISE THE AFOREMENTIONED ON; CONFLICTS MANAGEMENT, POLICY, PROCESS, PROCEDURE AND BREACH ESCALATION, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CORE THEMES SUCH AS; GIFTS, ENTERTAINMENTS, PERSONAL ACCOUNT DEALING, OUTSIDE BUSINESS INTERESTS/ACTIVITIES, MATERIAL DEALS AND INFORMATION WALLS.


6. FRAMEWORKS, BOUNDARIES, & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:


FUNCTIONS WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK AND BOUNDARIES OF GROUP POLICIES AS WELL AS OVERALL ORGANISATIONAL AND GOVERNANCE FRAMEWORKS.
AUTHORISED TO TAKE DECISIONS AS PER THE APPROVED AUTHORISATION MATRIX.


7. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:


Minimum Qualification
BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, HUMAN RESOURCES, OR RELATED DISCIPLINE.
Minimum Experience
2-3 YEARS RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR ROLE.
