Site Supervisor
Salary – £31,192 - £36,697 per annum (plus benefits)
Hours – 41.25 hours per week, 6:45am - 4:00pm, with a one hour unpaid lunch
Postcode of depot – OX14 4PW
As a Site Supervisor at FCC Environment, you will manage and organise the efficient and safe handling of waste material and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Landfill site. Where necessary, full training will be given, but the following tasks will be included within the role.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working five days per week.

What will you be doing?
- Supervising site staff
- Overseeing health and safety on site
- Operating and maintaining plant, such as the compactor, dozer, tracked loading shovel, dumper, excavator, tractor and ancillary equipment
- Managing contractor files
- Maintaining reports and records
- Responding to queries
- Reporting absences
- Undertaking housekeeping duties and IMS updates / filling
What are we looking for?
- Experience of managing or supervising a team
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience of assisting operational teams to manage an intensive operation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with computer-based systems, including Integrated Management Systems
- The ability to work to deadlines
- Proficiency in IT, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Integrated Management Systems and Intranet / SAP
- Certificate of Technical Competence (CoTC) qualification (or equivalent)
- A full, valid driving license
