As our Mobile Application Developer, you will be building high-quality, innovative and fully performing software that complies with the coding standards and technical design. You define system functionality and work in .Net using C# and JavaScript programming languages.
- Implement new features across the Ideagen Products using .Net and open-source technologies.
- Working closely with Development Manager and Team Leaders, and other Software Engineers to build well architected solutions.
- Working collaboratively with Product Managers, Technical Product Owners, Development Engineers, Test Engineers, and Infrastructure Engineers to ensure features are delivered to a high standard.
- Collaborate with the Product Design Team to create an optimal user experience.
- Work across the Software Development Lifecycle ensuring that our products are delivered to a published roadmap within planned release cycles.
- Work within an Agile Development Team using e.g., Scrum framework.
- Contribute towards the defining and developing a Sprint backlog to achieve the goals set out by our Product team.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix software defects.
- Provide unit tests to support and validate any development work undertaken.
About you
- Experience in a mobile application development role is preferred.
- Proven ability to deliver technical designed of a commercial native mobile application published on the Google/Apple stores using JavaScript/C#
- Demonstratable experience implementing .Net / JavaScript programming best practices.
- A proven ability to deliver technical features within an enterprise application.
- Experience using Source Control, preferably Git.
- Database development experience preferably in SQLite, MS SQL, PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge using CI/CD tools specifically Jenkins, SonarQube, Docker, TeamCity, Octopus or Chef.
