Job description
Your future employer is offering an exciting opportunity to join their rapidly growing business in the Fire and Security industry. They are looking for experienced roller shutter, auto doors, and gate and barrier engineers, to provide support to their customers in the South of England. A generous package is on offer, including a basic salary of £38,000 - £42,000, plus unlimited overtime paid at enhanced rates, as well as a yearly £2,000 bonus. This is a Monday to Friday only position, with no scheduled weekend work.
The ideal candidate will come from an experienced background in the security industry, and CCTV and access control experience would be beneficial, alongside experience working on gates, roller shutters, etc.
Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer include:
• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of gates and shutters
• Carrying out installations as required
• Travelling across a local patch and further afield as required (predominantly London and the Home Counties)
• Liaising with the service team for incoming work
• Maintaining company vehicle and vehicle stock as required
• Adhering to company SLAs and KPIs
Required experience of the Field Service Engineer:
• 2 year’s engineering experience on gates, roller shutters, auto doors, etc.
• DHF Qualification is desired
• Full, clean UK Drivers licence
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• CCTV and Access Control experience is beneficial
