Job description

24 Acoustics Ltd is an engineering consultancy specialising in acoustics, noise and vibration. We are based in Southampton and undertake projects throughout the UK and occasionally overseas.

Our sister company, Intelligent Instruments Ltd, designs and manufacturers specialist instrumentation. This includes our SoundVueTM noise camera which is used detect excess noise from nuisance vehicles in a number of cities around the world.

Due to growth in demand within both businesses we are a technician to work across both companies.

We provide a relaxed, non-corporate working environment in offices and laboratories with parkland style grounds of 1 acre 1 mile north from the centre of Southampton.

Role description as follows:

All educational backgrounds considered;

Relevant experience working in an instrumentation/ electronics/ IT/ technical assembly related role;

Role will include site work for both companies (across the UK and potentially overseas on occasions), maintenance of instrumentation and light electronic assembly.

Full training will be provided.

A full driving license is required.
